Eloquent Cow Internet Audio & Marketing Boutique is owned by husband and wife team, Scott Bussen and Beth Flowers.  Eloquent Cow is located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Fort Collins, Colorado.

We run our company as we live our life.  We think knowing and understanding our neighbors makes our communities better.  We believe our natural environment is precious and that creativity and art make our lives joyful and rich.  We know quality is more valuable than quantity and that slow is good for the soul.  We also think that giving is contagious, small is beautiful and laughter is the best medicine for good health.  Most important for our business life, we think technology is a friend that makes us more efficient and more creative.

Scott found this great poem in The Old Farmer’s Almanac Book of Everyday Advice.  The Almanac originally published the poem in their 1936 edition, citing the London News Chronicle as the source.  Interestingly, the News Chronicle was founded in 1846 by one of the word’s greatest story tellers, Charles Dickens.  We haven’t been able to uncover any more details, but the London News Chronicle is no more - it ceased publication in 1960 when it became part of the Daily Mail, one of Britain’s most famous tabloids.

Anyway, Scott loved the zen message of Ode to A Cow and set it to music.  The song is a hit - Scott gets requests for it every week.  And even the Old Farmer’s Almanac wanted to use it.  They have the song posted on their website for kids.  Most important to Scott, it makes Beth smile every time she hears it.
